Admissions

 Program Introduction  

 

We offer Master’s degrees in Daytime/Evening Programs. The admission information and enrollment schedule are explained in the table below:

Master's Program in English Education

Graduates with bachelor's degrees or higher from registered domestic universities or colleges, or those from universities of other countries recognized by the Ministry of Education (including recent graduates), or individuals with equivalent qualifications.

Annual enrollment 

Mainly on weekdays

(Students who are qualified by the Office of Teacher Education can take courses in the Teacher Education Program)

Evening Program

Master's Program in English Education for In-service Professionals

1. Same eligibility as the daytime program.

2. Individuals currently employed in full-time job positions.

Annual enrollment starting from the academic year 2017-2018 

1. Evening classes on weekdays or daytime classes on Saturdays

2. Classes are scheduled every other week

(Starting from the academic year 2020-2021, enrollment for the Teacher Education Program offered by the Office of Teacher Education is allowed; those who are qualified can take courses in the Teacher Education Program (Note that class times are mainly on weekdays.)

Evening Program


 

Master's Program in English Teaching

 

1. Same eligibility as the daytime program.

2. Individuals with qualified elementary school or kindergarten teaching certificates, or current full-time teachers with at least 1 year of teaching experience, or current substitute teachers with at least 2 years of teaching experience.

 

Enrollment discontinued starting from the academic year 2016-2017.

Evening classes on weekdays and daytime classes on Saturdays (Students cannot be enrolled in the Teacher Education Program)

Our master’s program accepts regular admissions. For information on previous admissions brochures, please refer to the “Admissions Information” section on the university's homepage.

Master’s Program in English Education

Application Document + Aptitude Test + Interview

Submit one set of paper application documents (in A4 format), organized in order and with a table of contents.

 

1. Resume (format can be downloaded from our department’s website)

2. Autobiography in English (one page)

3. Research Proposal and Study Plan (written in English, up to three pages)

4. Professional achievements, such as:

(1) Certificates (teacher's certificates, English proficiency tests, etc.), evidence of workshop attendance, etc.

(2) Professional accomplishments (teaching activities, lesson plans, work achievements and experience, awards, published teaching materials, academic works, or published articles, etc.).

(3) Other supporting materials.

 

※ The application documents are considered part of the examination requirements. After submission, changes or additional submissions will not be accepted, and no replacements or supplementary materials will be allowed. Hand-delivered submissions will also not be accepted. Submitted materials will not be returned.
